BEC
Australia is a united national network providing support to small
and micro business.
The
official mission statement of BEC Australia is:
“To
deliver opportunities, cost savings and an enhanced national
profile for BEC Australia and its members resulting in the growth
of Australian micro small and medium business, and for members of
the BEC Australia network and members of the Association to be the
providers of choice for small, micro and medium enterprises in
Australia in need of effective support to assist with the
establishment and/or development of their business.”
The BEC
Australia Vision
We are
commited to assisting Australia’s small and micro businesses and to
improve the services offered by our member BECs. As a
result BEC Australia is facilitating a program of APEC
accredited business counseling training for our members.
It is our
belief that this will ensure the BEC brand is well represented by
all those who operate beneath it.
It is our
goal to guarantee that the BEC name and brand will be synonymous
with quality small business advice and guidance within Australia
and the Asia-Pacific region. We will be the first point of call for
people wishing to start a business in Australia – whether they
currently be located on or off shore.
We will be
positioned at the head of the market and known for our business
facilitation and our ability to assist small and micro business
owners make sense of the mountain of information that is available
to them. This is a key point of difference in our services to other
departments – we don’t just give advice or information, we take the
time to talk to our client and assist in working through options to
allow the client to determine the course of action best suited to
them. We tailor programs, we refer, we mentor and we develop a
trusted relationship that lasts throughout all stages of business
development – and we aim for that to be over
